FALL KICK-OFF DINNER
The Valley of Detroit held it’s Kick off dinner on September 16, 2007.
The event was held at a restaurant named Camp Ticonderoga. We did limit reservations to one hundred persons. We are trying to manufacture some urgency into making reservations. We had sixty-four persons in attendance with only a few no-shows.
We did reserve the entire second floor of the restaurant and was able to perform the “old twenty-six” now a presentation for the public to view. It is also known as the Lincoln Degree.
Menu choices included;
Salmon Filet, Black Angus Tenderloin Filet
Road Kill Grill—Venison Brochette, Wild Boar Sausage &
Semi-boneless broiled Quail
Our cost was forty dollars per person. At this event the Valley did not underwrite any costs. The entire cost was paid by admission costs.
It was a good event and a good way to spend several hours on a Sunday afternoon.
